Many players on ECC have been concerned about the integrity of the Midwest Stock Exchange.
Here are some questions and some answers
Q1: What determines whether a stock share goes up?
A1: Stock share prices are determined by supply and demand. They also do not share the market price with shopdb as it is hard to keep track of which items are being bought by players on shopdb. In order to keep track of the purchases, the prices will be based on the Costco or Midwest Local Market.
Q2: How do you determine value of a share?
A2: Share values are determined by a lower than market price at either of the Midwest Shops.
Q3: What prevents you from changing shop prices to mess with share value?
A3: A public spreadsheet will be made with item, item price, player who bought the item, and there will be a link as a receipt that leads to a photo of a csn history on how much the player bought the item for and how much of that item they bought.
That is all the questions that I have recorded that were asked.
