Yus! That's when I joined in-game.. I didn't join forums until a day before I had money for resident as I needed like $100 more..! I think you gave me the $100 but I'm not positive.. <3 thanks bud!
People are saying, "Well if you didn't join the forums in 2012 you must have no played in 2012. Blah blah blah" Actually, I had no need for the forums. I was a builder for 2ish years. Pff, I didn't even know what the forums were!
I remember a group of me and my in real life friends, @zardgyer, @grinch9594, @Itsa_Spenca, etc all made a house in the middle of nowhere under ground and near a bay. None of us quite knew how to make money so we spent a majority of our time farming dirt and looking for pumpkin seeds. This, for me, was the most fun I ever had on ECC. Don't get me wrong, the year after that was great too, meeting all of my new friends (some of which I haven't talked to in over a year, like @antcubing.) Even though I never go on anymore, the community is changed and I will likely never return as an active player, that first year will always hold a special place in my heart.
