    Brief Description: I was melon farming, i checked the dura, had 200 on it, next minute, checked again, 150, couple of seconds later, i hear the destroying sound and my melon sword breaks. I'm not happy about this as it's worth alot of money and it's my main income of money.

    Result: Broken melon sword :'(

    did you have unbreaking on it? also, a sword takes twice the amount of durability because it's not the right tool for melons. (no tools are, in 1.7 at least)

    You can have unbreaking 3 on it. When you buy it from the star shop it doesn't have it but you can add it yourself.
