:: Pricing Suggestions :: Item/Rank/Feature: Melon block Data Value: 103 Current Price: 1.75 Suggested Price: 2.00 Brief Description: Obtained with a melon sword. Open Discussion: In order to buy a melon sword you must get 1000 nether stars. you get nether stars by voting, and buying them from other users. If melon swords don't earn more than an eff V unb III axe then there is no point in buying a melon sword. If there is no point in buying a melon sword then people are going to stop voting, people are going to stop buying nether stars and that part of the economy is just gone. A melon sword only makes like 3k more than en eff V axe and hour (not a lot of money) if you take that away it would hurt the economy more than help it. If it were to lose #1 economy less people would join the server and it would be harder to keep running. There are probaly hundreds of other reasons to make melons 2.00 this is just one of the best.
If inflation goes out of control, the price of a melon sword (either through buying netherstars or buying a sword directly) will go up dramatically. With more money in the economy, the price of everything else will go up as well. Therefore, we will end up in this position anyway because $2 (if melons are kept at the previous price) will be worth less than it is now, while also hurting the rest of the economy through inflation. I support the price decrease.
prices aren't going up much. if this makes the same amount as pumpkin farming there is no reason to get a melon sword and people will stop voting as I said. it is only like an extra 3k an hour I mean 3k an hour that is not much money people spend a good 350k on a melon sword so they can make 3k an hour more than pumpkin farming. There was a reason melons are 2.00 each and if they drop them melons just aren't worth it.
