You were asking for McMMO bug reports, I hope this is an okay location for one that I found.

Brief Description: I earned mining levels when mining Stone Brick blocks I placed myself. I earned several levels while casually working on my house. However, I was NOT able to reproduce the mining skill-up when placing a block, breaking it, replacing a block, breaking it etc. It seemed to only work on blocks I had placed awhile ago. (A few days earlier.)
Instructions: Mining with a diamond pick my own Stone Brick blocks which I had placed for my home.
How many times did you recreate this bug?: Three times
Result: Leveled up in Mining
Expected Result: No leveling up at all
Evidence: None, even if I took a screenshot of my mining level, it wouldn't be obvious it was gained while mining my own placed Stone Bricks.
