Brief Description:
Provide a brief description of the bug/exploit with a sentence or two.
When enchanting an item/book and you use let's say you have 40 lvls of exp and do a lvl 30 enchantment you will go down to lvl 10. Now this is expected to happen, but lvl 40 equals 1895 experience and a lvl 30 enchatment costs 825 experience. 1895-825 = 1070 experience which is 33.31 lvls, not 10 lvls. So when you enchante with a lvl above 30 you actually loose exp to the server by enchanting. One could solve this by separating their experience in trade signs, but this is long an tedious.
Instructions:
1. get more than 30 lvls of experience.
2. enchant in an enchanting table.
3. Watch as you loose experience to the server.
..
List the steps needed to take to reproduce this bug. Add more or less instructions appropriate to getting to the bug. If it's just a single step or ten steps, just add the numbers accordingly. Numeral listing is preferred.
How many times did you recreate this bug?:
Example: 1 out of 3 times, etc. This is necessary so that we may analyze if this is a bug that is probability-based. It also ensures that it's not just you who may have made the mistake in the first place and solidifies your bug report.
5/5
Result:
What actually happened upon doing the bug. This goes roughly hand-in-hand with the brief description, but this is just the result - nothing else.
you loose experience orbs from your inventory that should not be lost.
Expected Result:
If there was an expected result, then please post what was supposed to happen, as opposed to what didn't.
You should go to the according level based on experience that the enchantment should have taken, not based on levels uses
Evidence:
Any screenshots/videos that can be used to show us as to what happens. Optional, but recommended.
I have screenshots, but no need to post because this is easy to replicate.

You can side step it though if you put experience in signs and take it out in inter voles of 30 as you enchant. When you don't do this however you loose experience. Two different results from one extra step. I consider this a bug.

This is not a bug. It's how Minecraft works.
When you get EXP, you gain levels. To enchant an item, you use the levels not the EXP. The enchantment table takes away 30 levels, not 825 EXP.
To avoid this simply place the extra EXP in a trade sign. -

Most players don't know this though, so they will generally loose xp instead of putting it in a sign as they should, and how about builders who can't make signs?

One of the perks of getting Resident is that you can make trade signs to avoid this problem.. Builders should use their xp as soon as they hit level 30, or they should sell it to shops in the market. And get Resident ASAP!
