Introduction
I'm happy to announce the very first event run by Koinonia, the Mario Kart Grand Prix. Hosted in Azerdan, this will consist of five rounds of racing and a load of fun! It will be hosted on Saturday 5PM EDT. The confirmed hosts for this event are @AdmiralD, @Whammerist5, @BuildsByGideon, @a18greek18 and myself.
Rules
- Doing any of the following things will result in immediate disqualification from the competition:
- Wait for your turn to race on the day of the competition, we will call up your name when we are ready for you. The roster for racing will be released once registration has been completed.
- Leaving your boat during a race
- Using a hacked client
- Causing disruptions during the event
- Walking onto the track while people are racing
- Griefing
- Stealing boats
- You may not move the boats before the race has started
How it will work
On the day we will be running multiple races, the number of people in each race will be decided once registration has completed. It'll be in a bracket-style format, so if you lose, you're out of the competition. We hope to have three people remaining at the very end for a final race that decides who is first, second and third.
Prizes
I will be simply handing out the prize money with /pay once the event has been completed.
First place will receive 50,000 ECD.
Second place will receive 20,000 ECD.
Third place will receive 10,000 ECD.
How to enter
Entry is free, however donations of any size are appreciated to help fund both this event and events held in the future. You will not be held in contempt if you choose to not donate, your money is your money and you may do with it what you please. Please apply in a reply to this thread using the following format:
