-1 this is one of the reasons for star tools

 

The star tools were in-part created so that eff7s/eff10s would feel like eff5s (vanilla max) while flying, because break speed is slower while flying.

 

This is in the code of Minecraft. It is a vanilla feature that cannot be changed unless you were given a haste effect while flying. Other than that, there is really no solution.

Not exactly. At many points, vanilla is basically more avoided than worked with (That is my personal point of view. As always, any dev may feel free to shatter this theory. :p). It might be possible to intercept certain java events (For example damage dealt by lava) and block it, but the mining speed decrease when flying seems to be deeper inside MC because I assume that it is not triggered by an event.

 

-1 I don't mine anymore because features keep being changed/ added, I stopped mining when I had to pay another $50 to be able to cook my ores.

 

I feel you. Try a wall of furnaces instead :)

 

-1, would make mining/land clearing op... But if added it should be tacked on to fly+, not make us pay a whole nother 60$ for it

I disagree with the idea as well I was just explaining that it should cost money vs just being added to an existing feature.

 

I like this, adding it to fly plus would be a really good bonus for it, I'll see if I can find some more info on the multiplier for the break speed reduction.

 

There was a valid reason cookpots were removed, however, in no way do you have to pay another $50 to cook ores (who does that anyway? - I only cook food and sponges - never ores) since furnaces still work just fine.
One less miner leaves more ores for me - Thank you :p
