You wouldn't? So no Newcaster? :3
I agree tho, $500k is an insane price for a town, but making it equal to the mayor rank price or lower is just going to cause people to buy up towns they don't need... cause they can. It was suggested in here by Jamie that the price be around $110k (transfers)-$125k (additional towns). Personally I think a town transfer should be a lil lower than that, because most towns sell for around $30k-$60k (depends on what's been done to them) and then you still have to pay for the town transfer... but any reduction would be a step in the right direction. I'm not going to be really picky with what I think the price should be, just as long as addition towns aren't $500k for me anymore, I'll be happy. :)
+1!

I am going to pose the question of why have it be limited to towns after president? I think players should be allowed to buy additional towns at the suggested price at any rank. If you want to stay a builder and pay $150k a town, why not? It takes more money out of the economy. I realize the current system has this option only after the president rank, I am suggesting this is changed as well.

What do you suggest we base our rank hierarchy off of then, as currently it is based on towns. Removing rank based requirements for towns basically removes the point of ranks in general.

Ranks will still provide more lwcs, ability to add and remove owners from towns, etc. Ranks mean very little now as it is. They are mostly just a goal for players or bragging rights past tycoon currently.
