True, I am hesitant to buy additional towns due to the price. I would definitely get additional towns for the reduced price. The transfer as well, I would be a whole lot more willing to pay for that at a reduced price.

 

I just went through the front page of mayor apps. 9/29 were meant to be transferred to another player. I would be surprised if half of those players became long term players. There were 4 others that were donated for. A loss of ~5 players in a week probably doesn't seem like much but it adds up.

I think that next week, once a new page of mayor apps are in, I'll go through and see how many are meant to be transferred again.

+1, especially with price decrease on additional towns. People say it would decrease amount of people buying res mayor for their towns, but I disagree simply because for just 30-50k more you are the original owner and don't have to worry about them exercising their right to claim, nor go through the contract process and waiting on someone else, etc.

+1 I had my mayor rank bought for my town and I barely understood what happened. This is a much better solution to people wanting more towns for everyone.

 

Yes that's exactly what happened to me when I wanted mayor.

 

+1 But 150k Is still way to much. If mayor costs 85k, Towns should cost 70K because you dont get a rank with them.

 

Well, if they get too cheap, the map will fill up with them. There's a happy medium somewhere. It's just not where it is now. I was going to buy a new town just recently, and because I've had like 20 (now mostly sold), it would be 500k. Even I wouldn't spend that.
