I respect the fact that you have the experience to know better than me about what it is like to moderate under any situation including this one and therefore I support your point although yeah I still think that everything else I said is a good way to go on under this situation.
I read and found out that this is in fact a bannable offence already. However I have also noted that it is not enforced when people do this. That is also what I am vying for. I will not quit, I will not give up and I will not relent until Builders and new players alike are treated like equals instead of absolute garbage.
I think we are having this problem because staff don't watch chat as often as they should. I just witnessed someone call MSU_Spartans a 'slave' and nothing was done about it. Anyways, +1
This is how I felt after being accused of being kcon in a skype call. It would want to make players quit, thus leading to a downfall in popularity for the server. Its awful that these people can just accuse and get away with it. If not tempbannable, then it should at least be warnable, I fully support this. +200
+1 Agreed, but the IP of iStomp is recorded, making all of his alts be noticeable as him. In that point, I agree with this suggestion since it will prevent users from discriminating the Builders as being the "alt of iStomp".
Probably just uses a VPN, not much you can do except ban the range of IPs. It's pretty much an impossible battle
Perhaps he is using the proxy server to get around the ban. but this can be avoidable by the anti-proxy clients like these: http://dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-plugins/anti_proxy/ http://www.spigotmc.org/resources/antiproxy.4384/
Wrong. These Anti-Proxy plugins just ban a select set of proxies - The said user in question could literally just log onto a VPN that is not blocked. Those plugins are pointless and ineffective. Yeah, let's totally get rid of all chat rules because players can just ignore each other, right? No, that's stupid.
