So I was bored again and decided why not find some more semi-interesting facts out about ECC. Today’s topic is mining all based on the main world again. Also this assumes that our current 15,000x15,000 map was all generated at once.
So thanks to the averages provided by our friends on the Minecraft Wiki, I’ve figured the following numbers out.
There was originally 73,828,125 pieces of Iron ore spawned on ECC. This ore if sold at server price is worth $553,710,937.50
There was originally 3,014,648.43 pieces of Lapis Lazuli ore spawned on EEC. This ore (and assuming you only get one piece of lapis per ore) if sold at server price is worth $12,058,593.75
There was originally 21,972,656.25 pieces of Redstone ore spawned on ECC. This ore (and assuming you only get one piece of Redstone per ore) if sold at server price is worth $54,931,640.62
There was originally 2,721,972.65 Diamond ore spawned on ECC. This ore if sold at $85 is worth $231,367,675.78
This means in total there was 108,129,198.55 pieces of ore on ECC. The total value of ore on ECC is $917,986,816.40
Who says there’s no money in mining. :D
I know coal ore was left out; this is due to no average being stated on the Minecraft Wiki and no reliable way for me to find one.
All numbers were found by taking the average number of times a certain ore appears in each chunk and multiplying it by 878,906.25 (The amount of chunks ECC has total on its main world)
If anyone can see a mistake I made please point it out, I have a feeling there are many. ;)
On one last note I decided to post this in my old thread because I didn’t want to littler the forums with another numbers thread.
