In Game Name: kenny0011What part of EcoCityCraft is this suggestion for: Main ServerShort title for your suggestion: Remove mending from /warp enchantWhat are you suggesting: Remove the option of buying the mending enchantment from /warp enchantWhy is this a good addition for EcoCityCraft?: As it stands at the moment, mending is currently a worthless enchant to put on tools when ereps are a thing, and often decrease the value of tools that they are put on. This is problematic for newer players, who may not understand the concept of ereps that can easily repair the tools, with most players providing the service for free / tips ($100-$200). New players may end up with otherwise very good max tools, and then finding out that they are next to worthless tools as they mistakenly thought mending was a worthwhile enchantment. Mending as an enchant is already not easily gained in single player, being obtained via books from treasures & loot, and so its loss from being more easily assesible would not nessesarily be felt for new players jumping into multiplayer for the first time. Conversely, mending books could still be added to tools for more veteran players, who want a more "complete" tool as a novelty item, and who would persumably be more understanding of the consequence of adding mending.Other information: n/aPlugin or custom addition: Enchanting plugin? But an axe to yeet that sign off the wall would probably work as well...One suggestion per form: I Understand.
Mending isn't that bad as people make out, it's useful for new players whom might not want to bother players for ereps, and it is also useful for offpeak periods when ereps can be hard to get, in addition it's pretty good on a fishing rod, I know some players who have ereps, actually like to use mending on them.
mending is worth it if only for fishing rods alone. It makes it so you never have to repair it. And I think that's definitely worth keeping it for. Only people with autorepair have no use for it, and those people have spent quite a bit of money on it.
