What part of EcoCityCraft is this suggestion for:
    Main City Server
    Short title for your suggestion:
    Remove /ci
    What are you suggesting:
i suggest not removing clear inventory just making /ci gone, and having to type out fully /clearinventory

or like trading a spawner key, you have to re type the command to confirm

or just remove the command in general. no one uses it.

    *EDIT*
also i was just informed /clear was a thing, i will not be trying it but some users may get /clear mixed up with trying to empty buckets which is /fill clear.
Why is this a good addition for EcoCityCraft?:
idk was a large discussion in global and idk if its been suggested before just thought id toss a suggestion up.
    Other information:

    Plugin or custom addition:

    One suggestion per form:
    I Understand.

+1 for removing the command. The command just causes trouble for everyone. i bet the command is rarely used for its purpose.

I've used /ci many times in 4 years, all but 1 of them times, were mistakes and lost a lot of items.

    +1 Down with /ci !

There are too many stories of people ci'ing startools to be ignored.
I suggest changing it to /clearinventory, and having to type it twice to confirm, much like how /isr works.

There is also some uncertainty as to what /ci stands for, as i've spoken to a few builders, and at least one of them thought it stood for "condense inventory".

I believe it needs to change.

If you own your tools /ci does not clear owned tools. I personally use it frequently with owned tools in my inventory and haven't lost anything

I'd be down for a confirmation command to prevent mistakes as opposed to a complete removal. Then if you lose things to it, its your own fault and not an accident anymore.

Edit: After more thought a confirm would also prevent trolling by users who think its cute to tell people to /ci. Not that this is encouraged, but often the damage is already done before we can tell them to not do that command.

    Perhaps have it say when /ci is done;
"WARNING! This will clear your inventory! Type /ci confirm if you wish to proceed."

I have used the command a few times over my time playing. But I think a warning would be nice to prevent players trolling like Clar said. And would be better than just removing the command completely for the few users like myself who sometimes use it.

+1 I agree with clar on this one. If not removed completely, it would be nice to keep the command just with a warning before actually doing the action of clearing the inventory. Although the command doesn't work with /own'ed items (which I still do not trust in fear of losing them anyway) I agree that there needs to be some type of warning/confirmation before the action is performed.

I hope this finally happens. For years this has been suggested so many times and always denied. I have always felt bad for new players that trolls prey upon and believe our server is better than that. That said, I believe that andrew has punished some of the trolls in the past.

Added note: Get rid of /clear also.
Because /fill clear and /clear are two VERY different things, which look to similar.

+1, remove any aliases for /clear inventory. I've never seen it used for good and its rather dangerous to have a 2 letter command wipe everything you have.

I've accidentally used it twice since launch, both times completely accidental, and I've lost 3 max tools as a result.
If this command isn't removed, at the very least it should exclude diamond tools and anything that you can /sell. That way if people genuinely wanted to clear their inventory, they could use /sell all and then /ci afterwards, but this would prevent people accidentally clearing valuables from their inventory if they accidentally used /ci.
Although I think removing the command entirely would be better.

/ci is a command from ExtCommands.
Anyone saying new players are getting trolled by it doesn’t know what they are talking about.

Some users purchase extcommands solely for the repair feature. They might have never used /ci or know what it does. A confirmation would be nice.
