I am suggesting there be additional methods to get sea lanterns. They're a very cool building block, but currently the only ways to acquire them are through mining world resets, as well as 10 days in a row of using /mobs2. While I have no problem with them being a rare block, having the current market price of >350/lantern makes it very cost prohibitive to create them.Why is this a good addition for EcoCityCraft?:
Therefore, I suggest the number of prismarine shards and crystals be increased from 1->4 and 5 respectively, in order to allow a slightly increased number of lanterns to be in circulation. This would add 1 lantern/player with extcreations++ every 48 hours, not a very high number.
The increased availability of sea lanterns would be valuable to builds on the server, as well as increasing the value of the slightly underpowered extcreations++ package.Other information:

+1 because of my own personal building desires
-1 because sea lanterns should be valuable. I fear this would kill the market by oversaturating it with lanterns.
Now, I could be wrong about killing the market. One sea lantern per two days probably won’t affect it (since that is only 183 lanterns per year if the person times it perfectly), especially since not that many people have the mobs2 kit.
So +1 with that logic.-

Definitely agree they should be valuable. I'm not exactly sure how many people have extcreations++, but I can't imagine it's over 75-100 active players. So again estimating perfect timing, that's an additional ~20,000 sea lanterns per year. Still not a big impact, but would at least make them available for some building purposes.

-1 Sea lanterns are worth next to nothing at the moment. I don't really see a reason to make them more common.

While I would argue that >350/block is too expensive, I do agree that they should be valuable/rare. Definitely not the type of block I'd like to see as common as quartz or something like that.

Tbh, don't really think there needs to be more. If you want them, either raid the mining world upon reset or utilize the alternative methods of getting them. Many of the total quantity of sea lanterns don't even end up in circulation, and yet the current prices don't quite match their scarcity (imo).
I'd propose offering them in the blockshop for 1-2k/each-

1-2k pr lamp? Thats is outright ridicules imo. Diamond block is worth what at Max sell value? around 350 ? Make lanterns price below that would seem Very reasonable to me... its a decorative block.. not a value block ment to be in storage... which it is atm afaik.
And to they Will never end up next to quartz at 10 pr block.. but theres a long way from 350 to 10 tbh. -

They were 1k per on the old Main before archiving.
So I wouldn't be surprised if they were added to the shop, they would be worth a lot more the 1k per. -
Well shop prices is Also a læst resort.. but ive seen Player shops sell them for close to that not too long Ago. Just Saying that Pretty few ppl Will ever get to use them in anything but minimal Numbers and its a very nice block for sure so imo it Should be used as such is all :) beats glowstone on Many builds.

@FrailDK, the aesthetics of the block rarely affects the price of it. Sea lanterns are pretty rare considering they're only found in sea temples which you can only find in the mining world as well as the fact that they are usually all gone within 72 hours of the reset.
