Main City ServerShort title for your suggestion:
Add cement/concrete to /smeltWhat are you suggesting:
Add the ability to make concrete from cement using /smelt or maybe even another command. Why is this a good addition for EcoCityCraft?:
It is a hassle to make using the normal method of pouring water on itOther information:
Like I mentioned, if it isn’t added to /smelt, maybe create a custom code that uses the base of /smeltPlugin or custom addition:
Couldn’t find one, but is basically /smeltOne suggestion per form:
I Understand.

-1 on adding it to smelt seeing as smelt is like a furnace. You dont get concrete by putting it in a furnace. You need water.
+1 for making it a different command however having to manually make concrete probably helps its value tbh.-

Concrete is of more value as an attractive building material than a commodity. As a builder of large builds -- if I'm faced with the idea of either making or buying enough concrete for a major thing, I'm more likely to just decide to use something else. Which is a shame, because concrete is super-attractive.
I don't have an opinion on the /smelt vs. other command thing, because I know jack s*** about programming -- but I would absolutely pay full price for a feature which auto-manufactured concrete from powder. -

A command would definitely be very nice, but not /smelt as strong mentioned you don’t smelt concrete powder to get concrete.
-
Exactly! My current large build I am working on currently has well above 10k blocks of white concrete (with an almost equal amount for the remainder of it). It is annoying as fk to build with, especially when the final block is suspended in the air.
I agree 100%. I just stated that because if it is too much work to make a new command, then at least put it into one that is already implemented, even if it doesn’t make sense. -
+1 even though I already had to make over 1000 stacks of it (but it will come in handy next time! :D)

I'm +1 for this regardless how it's implemented.-

My thinking is that water+ is kinda fully featured in getting what you pay for and creations++ has always been a little lackluster with the promise of more (not to mention more expensive last I checked)

This is still a wonderful suggestion.
-
Honestly please don't. It's good to have concrete be an expensive item. I hate it when we kill the Minecraft that's left on this server.
If you want to make it easy, but it from the block shop, player market, or hire builders.
Stop being lazy and play the f-ing game-

That’s still over $100 in features (closer to $150). Yes, it will be easier, but not that many people have access to the command.
-
But the people who do will be able to disproportionately alter the entire concrete market, the most desirable of all the colored blocks.
I'm one of them, and I think it's silly. Stop being lazy, hire builders or buy it.
We should be advocating for things that preserve the Minecraft of this server. This is how we piss off new players.-

It’s not like the old way is being removed. The difference between this one and the ones like shulker boxes, water, etc is it is an alternative. Idk how this will piss off new players, just the few players who sell it (and I mean a few because I never saw more than two or three shops that sell since the reset)
