Even though it is expanded upon in the tutorial, it is asked in global very often. The addition of a help chapter specifically for land claiming would allow Builders to find all that information concentrated somewhere as /help towns does not provide nearly enough information. The contents of the command should briefly mention and encourage the player to visit the relevant sections on: i) Resident ii) Mayor iii) Towns iv) Total cost v) Grief in the wild/Mining World It is also possible to clarify that we use Townie instead of another addon. I really like this, especially since it's not easy to explain the answer in one line/sentence. "how do I get land" turns into "how do I get mayor?" and "where do I apply?" Not saying questions are bad, but having one large paragraph with all the relevant information to supplement a response to a question (as comes with /help prestige, /help money, /help ranks, /help (rank), etc) would be EXTREMELY helpful. +1.
Why not just point them at /help mayor and walk though it? Or at least consolidate the info. A help section that tells you to look at 5-6 other sections won't be read and is pretty pointless
It’s all well and good... but if they can’t/won’t read a tutorial and glean the information they aren’t going to use some random command. Staff really just need to have this either powertooled or copy and pasted at this point. Some questions are just going to be asked because chances are you’re dealing with kids. And a lot of servers use the golden shovel claim thing which is obvious to them and we don’t.
fun fact: /help towns exists with all this info, just found out you say "not enough info" but then it should be edited to be more succinct I guess. Apart from linking 5 help pages not sure what can be done though.

Changes to the help files are now live in the main server. /help towns -> /help land and is more explanatory than what /help towns used to be.
