@koko_2022 Well, you cannot upgrade Magic Cod since Magic Cod doesn't actually have a level 2 to upgrade to. Also it would be helpful could you provide a screenshot of your Magic armor that isn't from interactive chat [item], that has been reported to be showing a magic items pre-conversion level, not the actual current level.
@koko_2022 Please let us know which tools/armor/items you are trying to upgrade, without screenshots. Or, even better please find a way to give these items to @ClarinetPhoenix, and she will leave them somewhere for me to investigate.
I just tried this on all 4 of my Netherite L1 armor pieces. Getting the same error message. My upgrades did however work on my Magic Hoe and Nwart(before it was discontinued). I also made a post in this seemingly related issue https://ecocitycraft.com/forum/threads/cant-upgrade-boots-with-magic.212037/ which appears to be a duplicate.
