LushLand has been reborn from the Archive Server! Come to /warp heat and follow the arrows/signs to a plateau-top minigolf course! See the spoilers below for more information! Spoiler: Rules and How To Play Your Goal: Chuck a golf ball from the start area of the course into the hole in as few throws as possible. See the image below for more information: This tutorial hole can be found at the start of the course! Some other helpful hints can be found while playing too! Course Rules: 1. The water paths are a bit janky at times. If your ball is stuck in a stream, play it from the end of the stream. This does not apply to water with magma blocks! 2. No throwing balls over sand walls at any time! 3. If a ball lands on a sand wall or out of bounds, treat it as a hazard and restart the hole but continue your stroke count. You do this even if a water stream causes this to happen! 4. Take your next shot from the exact spot that your last shot landed on. 5. Max amount of strokes you can have on one hole is 10. 6. Wait for the ball to completely stop before picking it up for your next shot! 7. Cheating on a hole during tournament play will result in a DQ and loss of season pass. 8. No mulligans/redos at any time! 9. You may jump when you take a shot, but only straight up/down! 10. You are still on the start square (gray carpet) as long as you are not able to jump because of the honey blocks below it. 11. The top of the flag, iron doors, and ? blocks are treated as hazards.. 12. No potion effects allowed besides night vision. 13. Elytras are not allowed during tournament play. 14. If your ball stops because of a bunker (yellow carpet), you must stand far enough into the bunker that you can't jump for your next shot. 15. If you are AFK on a hole and all other players finish the hole before you return, you will receive a 10 for that hole. 16. The only legal way to activate a pressure plate is by first landing a ball onto it far enough that it turns it on. You may then stand on it. 17. Players that have won a tourney in the current season must abide by the following: -You have 30 seconds to finish an easy hole. -You have 40 seconds to finish a medium hole. -You have 50 seconds to finish a hard hole. A stroke is added to your total count each time this rule is broken. 18. Shots from powdered snow must be played IN the powdered snow. You may not stand ontop of the block to throw if your ball falls into the snow. 19. Do not buy out multiples/lots of ANY golf item. 20. More Rules Could Be Added In The Future. Spoiler: Seasons and Passes Every few months, the terrain of the holes on the course will change, providing players with new challenges! In order to play the course outside of Server Sponsored Tournaments, a season pass must be purchased, which enables players to access the course anytime until the season's end. Current Season: 6 Season Pass Cost: FREE Season Ends: 3/31/24 (Players will receive a week warning before the season ends in this forum thread.) Spoiler: Tournaments and Prizes Server Sponsored Tournaments will be hosted once a week on weekends. Season Passes are not required to participate in Server Sponsored Tournaments. Consistent Days/Times TBD. Tournament Types: -Front 9 -Back 9 -Full Course Tournament Prizing: -1st Place: 250K ECD (Front9 / Back9 Tourney) 500K ECD (Full Course Tourney) -All Places: 1 Events Raffle Ticket Per Stroke Below Par (Varies Based on Player Score) -Tournament Winners will also receive an event exclusive Lored Item! -Tournament Winners will also win a free season pass for the current Season or the Next One if a current pass is already owned (only applies for one additional season). Note: Other tournaments may be hosted at the course, but they will not be server sponsored, so the prizing will be different and vary depending on the tournament. Records from these tournaments may still be posted on the score boards. Additionally, these tournaments may be for season pass holders only.
February 2023 Course Updates: -Season 1 will officially end on March 1st, 2023! -Season 2 will feature the opening of the Back 9 and Tournament Play for the Back 9 and Full 18. -New rules were added to this thread and to the lectern at the tutorial area! Read them before tournament play! -Tournaments will be officially hosted once a week. The Prizing has been updated in the tournament section of the original thread. Other tournaments may be hosted throughout, but they will not follow the prizing listed in the original thread. -Play testing for the Back 9 will occur throughout February. Expect unofficial testing tournaments and temporary access to the back 9 if you choose to participate. You will lose access to the back 9 after the testing tourney ends. March 2023 Course Updates: -Season 2 Officially Starts on 3/1/2023! The Back 9 is now open and a part of the season pass. Back 9 and Full Course Tourneys will now occur! -Season Passes will cost 5,000 ECD for any player that is a Builder, Resident, or Mayor. Season Passes for players that are President + will cost 10,000 ECD. All players that had access to the course from season 1 and will need to purchase a pass to have access again! The following Holes were given more attention/a slight overhaul: Holes 2, 4, 6, 7, 8, 12, and 17. Expect more tweaks to be made and officially reported upon at the next monthly Course Update! -A small rule update was made to clarify that players should play the ball at the exact place that the ball stops, rather than the block. This change has been made to make the came more balanced and less automatic for veteran players. TL/DR: Play the ball where it lies! January 2024 Course Updates: -Season 5 has ended and Season 6 has begun! It will run until at least 3/31/2024! -The Starting Area by Hole 1 has been revamped. The tutorial has been moved, and the ballshop has been moved and improved to feature seasonal golf balls! -The entire course has had a seasonal theme change to a winter theme! Most terrain types now have a new block to represent them! -Bunkers are no longer honey blocks, instead they are powdered snow blocks! -The following Holes were given slight terrain tweaks to account for the new terrain theme: Holes 6, 9, 10, 12, 13, 15, and 17. Expect more tweaks to be made and officially reported upon at the next monthly Course Update! -Rules 19 and 20 have been added to account for the changes to this season.
