    Suggestion:

Change the price of ECD in the shop to around 10k/usd for any amount purchased.
Add the ability for users to purchase donation features for around 6-8kECD/USD at it's current price, in game or via forum application.

    Reason:

I think that this will solve several problems listed in detail below in order of importance.

Note that I refer to users who sell donations features as "donors" and users who purchase them from other users as simply "users".

Firstly, In the last couple years the donation feature market has doubled in price from 6k/USD to 10-12k/USD. I have heard from other users that in the recent past it has been as high as 16k/USD. This is problematic because donation features are one of only a few ways that users can currently spend there money on ECC and because the price has increased so dramatically many users are no longer willing to purchase features, and when they are it's generally because a sale is happening.

This brings me to my second point. ECC sales do not really help users selling features at this point, during the end of January sale I saw almost no increase in price that is generally expected during sales. This means that individuals who are actually spending money for ECC are getting no reward other than an increased demand for features. The problem here is simple, it's placing an unneeded middle man in the supply and demand for server donations and what we can donation features. For ECC to profit, Users need to be willing to pay the going rate for features, and donors will need to be willing to sell for that going rate. I saw a large increase in users selling during the sale but not an increase in price, because they know this is when normal users are willing to pay for features. The solution is to allow the supply and demand for donations and feature to be separate things.

My third and final point is that as it stands many new users are struggling to make the money needed to buy a donation feature. Even the most basic of features now cost upwards of 150k. For a new users who has yet to gain a real commitment towards ECC, this amount can seem very unreasonable. Even more so than the 90k it used to be.

    Other Information:

I know that this thread is one that provides both sellers and buyers with a decent bit of personal gain, I hope that players will attempt to come past these personal gains and see the bigger picture and the effect this will have on all parties, while paying special attention to the possible gains and losses this could have for ECC.

Your suggestion at buying ECD for 10k/usd means you could purchase 100k worth of ECD for $10. Then, you could turn around and use that same 100k to purchase $12.50 in donations.

This suggestion in general is a bad suggestion. Prices for features have gone up simply because there is far fewer people buying them for other users, as well as the fact that money is far more attainable then it use to be. If they allow users to use ECD to purchase donations, they then begin to not have any sort of income from the server to keep it running.

Feature selling prices have gone up because of inflationary policies. Reducing the server ECD shop price would spawn more money into the economy and just make the issue worse.

Also, having the ECD shop price lower than the feature cost would mean the server would be losing revenue. I could spend $12 for 120k and then use that 120k to buy a $15 feature (given ECD/USD prices at 8k/USD as you suggested). That's just silly.

EDIT: I also fail to see any benefit this would have for donors. If you institute a ECD feature shop, feature selling competition would shift from player-player to player-server. Donor prices would be forced to drop down below the server price in order to remain relevant, and suddenly they're income could see as much as a 2/3 reduction in revenue. I can't comprehend how going from earning upwards of 300k per sale to 100k is a benefit

I’ve only ever seen 17k per dollar during 50% Christmas sale, otherwise it’s 8 it 9k per.
If you add in ecd to usd transactions for the store then the server will suffer because no one would actually pay real money for the features.
    I can’t +1 this sorry bud
