-1 Being a "financial manager" for @matrix_rep, I'd say we lose money on most of the lottos that we play.

If spam is a problem, /lot messages, and you could always not play for one round and do a higher ticket amount the next, to have a better chance at winning.
Lotto is for the rich and it will stay that way.

 

I understand what your saying about the rich and how they are getting too powerful, but you can't blame them. If you or I became rich we would most likely lotto and use SG kits to get more and more money for ourselves. Even in real life this is how the world works. Right now I think lotto is doing alright with its current system, but SG I would have to disagree. People without kits in SG don't even stand a chance against people with kits. So why even play SG with a kit user when you know you have an extremely low chance of winning, unless you team against him. I do think that the higher ranking people on ECC should give the lower ranks a chance with lotto and SG, but I'm sort of on the fence with this and as of now I think the system is doing fine.

The problem is, lotto must not be nerfed. It is there to slabilize the economy.

I think it was dewsy who went through the logs of one week a while ago and posted the result. Lotto takes almost as much money out of the economy as there is inserted with /sell, making it an important vent.

Sorry, but because of its economical role I disagree with this since it needs to remain possible to put a fortune in so a fortune of tax is removed.

 

No offesnse but this is most likely the Dumbest suggestion I have ever seen in my entire life. Big tickets don't always win and honestly people are stupid for going big in lotto (including myself sometimes) the only way to actually make a profit in lotto is buying 1-2 tickets every lotto. On a side note what you are suggesting is actually going to make future residents poor and tycoons and presidents richer as they may actually save their money.

 

I had an idea about lotto today, which I may post later if I get time. I see what you are trying to do, but a cooldown doesn't seem to be a very good idea IMHO.

Let me get this straight. I have not won a SINGLE lotto since beginning of time.
But because of the tax, lotto plays a huge role in the economy, especially for big pots.
As many would say spam is fixable by /lot messages. And also staff can handle that if thats a very big issue.
