Well yes, would save you a lot of hassle. However the staff team seem adamant on him not coming back, so there seems to be no need to bother. You could possibly file a staff complaint if you're not happy with it though, I know it doesnt take much more work to add (Loan scamming-Expiplusone) to a reason.

 

Ban reasons have limited space when done by a staff member and if something important is taking up all of that space, it simply cannot be put into a ban reason. While of course it probably would be the best, ban reasons can get pretty lengthy.
