They do not have to make these payments in any specific time frame before the due date, the incremental payment is only for their convenience. The late fee chest is directly adjacent to this one and clearly marked to not be used unless required. In the case that @pikalovr is late repaying their debt, they agree to pay an additional $15,000 EcoDollars after the due date has passed, and another $15,000 EcoDollars should one week pass after the due date for a maximum of $30,000 EcoDollars in late fees.
