If you use the on a sign to create a light switch, it will not work. but the ending result is a sign you cannot remove.
Instructions:
plant a sign and on the second line do an . there you ahve just protected that block so no one (even yourself) can remove it

I still have two on my shops. I cant remove them you may have the proper permission to.
