    That mod is highly outdated so I doubt it'd work. As far as ecc is concerned, I think it would be fine.

    I may be wrong about this, but optifine can allow you to better control the render distance, but the server only allows a limited range for players to load. I think that is 8. If this is the case, then even with a far sight mod, you may not be able to see that far.

    The mod wouldn't work. The server limits render distance to 5 chunks.

    Also, the render distance is different withing SG, but thats not really relevant to this thread :p
