I don't remember if I posted on this before or not, but I think this is a wonderful idea.

 

I like the idea, but I do see quite a few issues, namely, the issue with Stargate itself.
It requires all portals to be defined in a config file (Dimensions, material, etc).

This could become rather tedious for andrew/revan.

With proper setup, I could see this working quite well

Multiverse is horrible for portals. There is too many portals currently anyway to change over.

Multiverse is designed as a world bridge plugin, not as a portal plugin.

Lol. I was suggesting multiverse portals as a joke. CHanging the whole portal room would be far too difficult.

Btw, what would happen if I placed a sponge near a portal? Would the water disappear, but the portal still work?

 

The portal would break and would not work, and if it was not your own town we would ban you for griefing spawn.

You can easily fix your own portal by having some fix the water in the portal.

 

So if I place water inside the broken portal, it works again?

Yes, and if you were to have issues you could have a GA assist you as well, though I doubt you would need that.
