Was the little face not enough to make my statement have a silly side? XD I was just kidding. All I'm concerned about is that things be fair, which you seem to be handling just fine. (double tongue face for emphasis)
Labyrinth Race 1 was a simple "find the exit" maze, and was won by officepwnz123 in 35 minutes. Labyrinth Race 2 added a second level and the code feature, and was won in 1 hour and 40 minutes by a combined team of riku1301, A18Greek18, and ndm57dcraft. Labyrinth Race 3 keeps the code feature, but adds a THIRD level to the existing two levels. I do not know how long it will take to beat it....
Will you be altering the older mazes? People who participated in the previous maze runs might have an advantage over others. What if they had mapped out the locations of some of the chests?
I will be altering the old mazes. People who ran them before shouldn't try to depend on their previous experience.
Seems like I could make a chunk of change brokering codes... I'll make contracts that prevent resale! MUAHAHAHA!
Ill be winning this for sure and you should make it so you cannot not use fly cause it is unfair to some of the players!
I have changed the rules, as seen below. This time, Speed Potions are allowed. "/speed 3" is allowed. NO MORE than "/speed 3". /fly is NOT ALLOWED.
Really Nico? This gives people with /speed an extreme advantage. I do hope you change the rules back because, I might not bother showing up if there's not much chance of me winning.
I disagree with the word "extreme". The extra movement of "/speed 3" is no more than you get from speed potions, which are also now allowed.
- If you had to leave the labyrinth for some reason (say you had to tp back home to get some food or restock on speed potions) could you use '/back'?
Speed users still get a bonus. Not including the fact of money, but also the time it takes to drink a new potion while stopped/moving slow. You may disagree with extreme but, I'm sorry, I won't be coming.
it is a very small bonus and the trade off is that the event may take 2.5 hours instead of 5 hours. it is worth it, in my opinion. I'm surprised you won't go over such an extremely small bonus. The donors who pay for you to be able to play ECC deserve some bonuses.
Good god man, this race is projected to last at LEAST an hour, likely 2+. Surely you're not going to attribute your loss to the few seconds that it takes to drink some potions? Instead of nitpicking over every little detail, why not start organizing a group to run the race together? You're FAR more likely to win that way.
oh yeah, /back is fine to use. What I don't want is for people to set homes in a bunch of different places in the Labyrinth so that they can solve it more easily. EDIT: I've added to the main rules the fact that /back is allowed.
