officepwnz123 hasn't been online for a few days so I haven't been able to talk to him. But I think you folks have a point; someone else should take a turn in the winner's circle. Again, congratulations to officepwnz for his fine win!

Also, I have made substantial progress on the labyrinth overhaul. Exciting stuff! Unless another important point comes up, I will probably not post again here. Be on the lookout for the official event announcement thread, coming soon!

Perhaps in the unlikely way that he might win, you should offer a mini-prize or something.

Edit: Congrats Nixodemux, 100 post mark :D

Yeah that would be pretty amazing officepwnz123 won again, it would only be fair to give him something, like a nice fistful of netherstars. Make it worth his while to participate again

Maybe some water tunnels where you have to actually plan your route and avoid meeting dead-ends with no air-pockets. Any element of danger would be cool :D

I have decided not to implement any dangerous things in the maze. I didn't last time, and many users felt more comfortable with the fact that they couldn't get killed in the maze. I'm planning to do the same this time.

There is no entry fee at all, just show up at the time I announce. I have not yet announced a time but it will likely be a Friday evening or a Saturday afternoon (North American east coast time).

The main reason I don't have an entry fee is that with 100+ competitors to take into account, it would be near impossible to administrate who has paid. Also I want to give all players a chance to win, even those who don't have money to spare.

Perhaps you could integrate both ideas together to make the maze really long, as in it taking several days to solve. So basically you have a ladder to the second floor at the end of the first one, and scattered throughout both the mazes are the codes required to unlock the chest at the end of the second floor.

I have the plans finalized. You have your choice as to which level to enter first. I will open the doors simultaneously. The two levels will be partially woven together, with a limited number of ladders that lead between the levels at semi-random points within the labyrinth.

There are a whopping 14 parts to the code. They are written as the "titles" of renamed pieces of gravel (renamed via an anvil). The pieces of gravel are within Donation Chests scattered throughout the Labyrinth. Ten in the upper level, four in the lower level. The fully assembled code must be entered via /cpassword, with the code pieces in the correct order, to open the door at the bottom of the lower level. That door leads to the Grand Prize room, where, again, the full code must be entered to open the Grand Prize chest, which will also be locked via /cpassword (for extra security).

For security reasons, and also to increase the difficulty, all the hedge walls in the upper level have been been replaced with walls made of solid stone brick.

Since there are so many code pieces, I would suggest working in teams and trading/selling the code pieces so as to increase your chances of winning.

But as far I am concerned There Can Be Only One winner, which will be whoever retrieves the book & quill book (signed by me), which will be found in the Grand Prize chest, and then turns the book in to me. I will wire the Grand Prize EcoDollars to that player only. The reason for the book is for the unlikely circumstance that I am offline when someone wins.

It is hard to estimate, but for someone to win, I think it will take significantly longer than the ~35 minutes that it required for officepwnz123 to emerge victorious last time. On the bright side, I am hoping to make the Grand Prize even larger than it was last time. :)
