I did. I redid it and it came with 619. I have absolutely no idea what I did wrong the first time. lol. Edit: Should mention I did it on my computer calculator, like a pro. xD
Alright you keep changing the last line of the riddle. Is that on purpose or did you just leave stuff out at first?
Buggylemon found it. The answers were 35 (a binary used as a decimal to turn it into a longer binary) 47 (the second floor of a tower as seen in an elevator is often "2F" and hexagonal tower was a hint towards hexadecimal, hexadecimal 2F = 47) -278(a ceasar shift 3 with an atbash cipher applied to it ended up with twoseveneight and the second part was "NEGATIVENEGATIVENEGATIVE which = negative")
I had 35, atbash, and negativenegativenegative figured out but stupidly missed the hex-dec reference. Just out of curiosity, because you've successfully gotten me interested in ciphers, how do you solve the Caesar/atbash cipher?
Kuke you should do a tutorial on ciphers and such... I would like to find one of these chests but have no idea what you are talking about... atbash?
google it, there are many cipher translators in existence. I myself use http://www.braingle.com/brainteasers/codes/caesar.php
Next chest will have a good old riddle. No more complicated ciphers and combinations, just riddles. I am just going to let buggy do the complicated stuff :b
