Competition Rules + Application
The following rules apply to the building competition and its region. Breaking any of these rules will have you face disqualification:
1. All server rules apply to this competition.
2. You will have until Friday, July 25th, at 11:59:59 (E.S.T) to build your entry. All member permissions will be wiped after that, and construction will stop.
3. Judging will take place after time is up. It will take a week to a week and a half for judging to finish and announcements to be made. Please be patient.
4. Absolutely no griefing. If you grief even one block, you will be disqualified from the building competition and may even be banned. Take this as your only warning.
5. Do not interfere with other peoples building process. This includes building on their plot, blocking their way, etc.
6. No copying builds from lets-plays, schematics, YouTube videos, etc. Keep your builds original or you will face disqualification (subject to administration decision).
7. You are only allowed to build on your assigned plot, which will be given to you upon acceptance of your application. Do not build on anyone else's plot, even if it is to 'help' them.
8. You are only allowed to have 3 people on a team: no more. If you decide to form a team, your team members will only be granted 1 collective plot, and that shall count as all 3 users submission.
9. No blocks are banned from this building competition; however, we do reserve the right to ban certain blocks in the future should something stupid happen.
10. Your plot is outlined by stone slabs: do not edit them. You may dig up to 20 blocks below your plot, and may build up to 100 blocks above your plot, but do not go outside of these confines.
11. Applications may take 1-2 days to process. Please be warned ahead of time, and do not ask them to be processed.
12. Upon closure of the competition and prizes being awarded, you will be given 7 days to completely clear out your plot (however, Andrew may choose to world-edit the winners into a special hall of fame if he so desires). After those 7 days, you will revoke any rights to the blocks/items and the plots will be cleared.
13. Do not put your name on your plot anywhere. This is to ensure that there is absolutely no bias from our secret panel of judges, who will not be aware of who is competing.
14. If you need water/lava and do not have the donation features, we will have a pre-approved list of staff members (that are not judging) that can assist you.
15. No troll builds.
