Brief Description:
I have 4 sheep that seem to be incompatible with any other sheep. I've dyed them multiple times, as well as keeping them with other sheep, and no matter how long I stay near them, they refuse to stack.
Evidence:
The sheep are located at 13,830 / 62 / -11,760 on main north. I've used 2 sheep spawn eggs near them, dyed the spawned sheep the same color, and the 4 sheep will not stack, but the 2 spawned sheep did stack.
I talked to iSneaky, but he doesn't deal with mobs often enough to offer much advice beyond filing the bug report, which I'm doing only after having tried spawn egg sheep, as that was an old fix for the new stacking algorithm.

Honestly, I have no idea.
I'd say just kill them and move on.
I spawned in a few around your location to stack them up for you, however am pretty stumped. Won't be treating this with any priority to be honest. They are probably just old sheep part of a very old bugged out period. You can ignore them. If you find any other mobs like this do let us know. :) -

I have the same issue. I collect up a bunch contact a ga they come and kill for fun then spawn new Tupperware stackable versions. I get my mobs...server gets its performance boost.
I will say that even newly naturally spawned mobs aren't stacking anymore. -

I had this issue earlier today. I dyed them all white, sheared them and put them on leads tied to fences next to eachother. Once they grew back their wool, they stacked. I lost some leads, but they stacked.

will test the dye then shear method next logon and report back. I reported this error when stacking started so I am keen to see a resolution.

It appears to be a when and where did they spawn issue. any sheep that spawns around bird on main won't stack. I think it has to do with the age of the chunks from some old videos I watched about old maps that were updated. Since the chunks were from the a previous version they spawn the old mobs. I could be completely wrong about that though. No sheep were stacked in the writing of this post.
