brief description: was about to get my melon sword repaired, took it out of my chest and moved it to a different slot in my inventory and it disappeared. Already had kmaxwell investigate it.

I checked all the chests in the area. I checked the inventories of both parties. I had oxwood2 fill the chest in question and his inventory with blocks to ensure that the item wasn't there but just momentarily invisible. I checked /near to ensure there were no vanished players within 500 blocks at the time of investigation. I flew around both inside and outside the building to check for it having been dropped somewhere. All of this yielded no results.

As in, the items were never in the chests? Or no trace of them being taken out?

The sword was in my diamond tools chest waiting to be repaired but I took it out tp place in the other empty chest and that's when it disappeared. In my inventory.

I had only vanish checked the chests, I did not logblock them. Should have thought of that. oxwood2, what are the co-ords to the area that we can check the chests again?

I'm not finding any logs at all, but, I have weird issues logging locked chests I don't have permissions to. Perhaps if you would also take a look, kuke? Or talk to me in game to ensure I am seeing all there is to see.

I found a few records from 9/06/13 and 9/07/13 but nothing else. I am not sure if there is any other followup that we can do in regards to the matter.

Well I guess I'll be banned for breach of contract come Wednesday. At least I should get something for having a server glitch kill my melon sword!
