Issue with LWC and Double Chests

It goes up by two anyway. It's automatic, so you hardly notice it.

 

So it is 100% positive old chests are fine?

 

i think builders limits should get a slight increase because of this, they dont get many and thisll cut that in half

I have emailed hidendra, and this is a brand new occurrence for him, and he likely will be looking into in very soon.

As long as chests were from before yesterday morning they should be fine.



Here is a current potential fix until lwc has updated.

1. Place a single chest, and lock it
2. Shiftclick on one side of the chest, adding a second chest.
3. the double chest should now have both sides locked, and it is considered as a single lock.

This should work until the plugin is updated, and if you cant get it to work please notify me so I can help you out.

 

RyanJF1 Donation chests currently have that issue aswell, this can only be done if you make a doublechest, and then lock one side, itll only lock one of the two.

 

I believe you are mistaken.

During this rollback unfortunately the locks that were created after the broken build have been removed again, sorry for the inconvenience, please check your locks and make sure they're still there.

 

Wouldn't taking items from a half locked chest be exploiting a glitch = ban?

 

Can't be proven that it was locked. Hence the rule of having no rule.

Should be safe to lock/update to the newest

Yeah, place a double chest. Lock one side, check it, log out/in, and recheck. If it is still locked, you have your confirmation.

 

As far as I know this has been fixed, I can at least no longer produce this bug.

KHobbits was not incharge of the fix, I contacted Hidendra, the creator of lwc, and he has assured me it is be fixed.
