I'm trying to plant plot signs to mark out my plot as required by the Mayor application, but for some reason when I try to place signs I am unable to put words on them at all even after destroying and trying to replant several times. Yes this is in the wild and not a fair bit away from other towns also

 

after looking at it further it may just be a display bug on my part and the signs do actually have writing
