Don't need to give someone a warning and possible forum ban for being nice lol. Unless they do it repeatedly
As I said to a18, Forum inbox, profile post. There's other ways to speak to people. Don't want a warning/forum ban, don't post on complaints/appeals that don't pertain you
Agreed - that is exactly the purpose of this suggestion - stopping the bs of everyone posting on ban appeals/ complaints. It is against the rules, not necessary at all - I simply post on the forum profile or use a forum pm if I have anything to say. I have been tempted to say things myself at times but this section is just not the place - and hopefully never will be.
You told me sh*t all lmao. I screenshotted your ignorant comments yesterday and for that reason + this comment you shall have a staff complaint on you shortly. Good day sir.
I hope you realize taylor was referring to the comments in this thread and nothing else. Besides, do you really believe it necessary to state that you're filing a staff complaint? It's uncalled for. ^ in response to you
Is it really so hard to post a comment on a profile, or forum pm? Is it really that hard to follow the rules? Don't want a warning or ban? Follow the rules. I understand you will probably file a complaint against me for my ignorant comments (like Taylor) but it must be said until it is understood.
There's a difference between being nice and not following the rules. You can always forum PM a person if you wish for them to be unbanned.
-1 some irreverent posts are needed even if mods dont think they are ... ive seen plenty of "irrelevant" posts help the situation and the person who posted gets punished :/ this system of punish the good and reward the bad should change imo
As nicit stated earlier in the thread if a post is useful in the situation then it is relevant by definition. 'Irrelevant Posts' are posts that add no additional information (in the case of someone wishing someone else luck on being unbanned), troll, or have nothing to do with what they're posted on. These posts might be fun to read, but they add nothing to the thread they are posted on and are unnecessary and unneeded to solve the situation. In fact it disrespects the thread starter. By posting irrelevantly on their complaint/appeal/other thread you're telling them 'I don't really care about this subject'. Sure you might say something among the lines of 'hey I see you're trying to get unbanned good luck dude' but that doesn't help the situation at all and could just as easily be posted on their profile page.
