I doubt it given I got this message about a second ago. Other mc servers appear not to work.

 

I restarted my computer. That solved it for me.

 

Massive bump but i am getting this problem.

I have just install mcpatcher to use a HD texture pack.
I made sure that i out the texture pack into my minecraft folder and then patched the minecraft.jar

Its weird because it works on other servers and i dont crash on the other servers. So surely it cannot be my connection?
It loads up for about 10 seconds on ecc and then crashes with that everytime,

Ive tried restarting my minecraft, starting from a fresh minecraft.jar redownloading the mcpatcher.

 

@Mission001 McPatcher is built into the game, try using the HD texture pack with a clean 1.8.7 jar?

• Press Win key + X or right click the start menu button.
• Click Command Prompt (Admin) (or whatever your language says it as)
• type netsh winsock reset into the command prompt
• press enter

That might solve the problem. Only works on windows, though.

 

I think I have fixed my issue, will let you guys know if I get anymore problems <3
