I used to play around October-November of 2012 and left for a few months. After coming back recently I tp'd "home" to find my chests and furnaces missing. I also noticed my items that were stored in enderchests were removed and items worn missing, but all of my cash remained.
I don't believe I was hacked because going through the trouble of removing all my locked chests and not bothering to transfer cash makes no sense. Does anyone know what could have caused my items to be removed?

The locked chests shouldn't have been removed by the server. Were the chests in a town? because it likely they were removed my the mayor of the town because you were inactive for so long.
