Usually you should try to put this under the Ban Appeals section. If you attempt to login, you should see a ban reason and by what moderator. Also, you may not be banned and might be experiencing some technical difficulties! Restarting your PC (or mac or linux) is the way to go nuff said...
As The said, you should see a ban reason when you log in. If it just says you're banned with no reason, try making a ban appeal in the Ban Appeals/Complaints section of the forum. Only reason I can think of for a ban with no reason would be if your account was every compromised in a spam attack. :/ Otherwise, you are probably having internet connection difficulties. edit: ninja'd I guess. lol
when was this a rule? I thought that you can as long as its to a friend, not pming random users. I've seen plenty of people claim to have meant to pm a friend an ip, but actually said it in global...am I that out of touch?
the rules dont state any exception tot he advertising rule. if you really need to tell a friend then you should use skype or something
No...in the past in the past it was fine, I even pmed my good friends ip to servers before I got skype (linux ugh) and I never got banned, nor did the tons of other people.
