Hello Turtwiginator95 again
I shop at spawn 75% of the time they have great prices and are avaliable in bulk for town builders, however I search in vain for the valuable quartz O.O and I noticed there aren't quartz blocks in the spawn store and it is a major opportunity loss :( so I was wondering is there a story behind this?

I'm guessing they aren't in the shop to try and boost their price in the economy... However, I see no point in this whatsoever, when we have every other Nether item in the spawn store. Personally, I say remove all Nether items from the spawn store ... or add them all. :/
You can probably find a lot of quartz in the spawn user market, however it is extremely laggy... Which is why I don't go there to buy things like quartz. I just can't handle the lag. -

I know what u mean its like I have to predict where the lag will take me X) and yes I agree with the latter the nether access ifems should be taken off this might create more drive to buy the nether access perk (I have an open forum about this in the nether discussion if u want to take a look) or they should add every nether obtainable block because limiting the access makes quartz almost ridiculously expensive lol

I don't feel the need for quartz blocks in the spawn store. Quartz is essentially the "ore" of the nether, while everything else is the "dirt" and "stone". No other ore is sold in the spawn store, so quartz should not be an exception.

I think it helps players to make money, since there is no quartz in the spawn stores. This raises the need to get nether, therefore making the price higher. :)

Everything but diamond (I believe) is sold in the spawn store. Iron, gold, lapis, coal... Haven't checked for the new redstone blocks, though. EDIT: Not in ore blocks, though, but it is still technically available. -

SparklyPotato2 that dose make sense to have quartz limited if u want to promote nether access, but why not restrict other blocks as well? A major example would be to restrict glowstone that would have a huge impact on the economy and players would be scrambling to buy nether access or lose money to farming nether access players.

This suggestion is mainly up to Andrew to decide because its his store, however its great to see others opinions and hopefully we can find a more stable way to manage resource distribution or a reason why there are no quartz there X) because thats my ultimate goal, im really curious why it's not there lol

No offense meant to OP, but adding something to the spawn shop just because the market makes you lag is horrible reasoning.
If you want to buy nquartz and don't want to visit the market I will personally deliver some to you, just send me an in game mail and we can negotiate a price. -

Ok XD that would be better

I do understand this, but I see more people say, "Oh, I'm selling it in my shop...please go there." I do agree that lag isn't a good excuse to put something in the spawn shops, but it can sometimes be hard to find someone who will deliver or meet in a non-laggy place. People have trust issues with scamming (no surprise anymore), trust issues with item butchers, and are lazy. :/ It's unfortunate.
