I have nothing against females and I'm pretty sure 99% of this server doesn't either. It is nothing to worry about. Like a lot of other people said, there's tons of girls on this server. You're not alone. Don't worry about anything. If anyone is discriminating against you because you're a girl, you can always talk to me if you want. I would like to verify that BGeisinger is amazing at singing the beegees. I recommend you ask him to sometime. In other news, female gamers aren't nearly as rare or discriminated upon as you think. Yea you get the asshats who will never shut up about how you should be in the kitchen making sammiches blah blah blah, but they're just that. Asshats. Who probably are too stupid to make themselves a sammich. I have always been completely 100% open about being a girl on every game I've played, and yea I've had my fair share of shit about it, blew a couple gaskets, caused a lot of drama over it inadvertently, and then grew up and realized it doesn't matter that much; even if you were a guy, people would still be stupid. It's just the internet. They're just words, they can't hurt you anymore than you let them. And yes I can still get a little pissy over the way some of the guys treat us, but that's only fair for how closed-minded and trolly they are. If you ever have any problems in game with guys being stupid about you being a girl, any moderator will be happy to help you out. But if you feel like you really need some female backup, KMaxwell and I have always got your back. We've been there done that, and if we're not around I have no doubt SKSoccer has your back too
I never got random PMs from people for being female, but I also never kept an avatar of myself for very long... I kinda act more like a guy, too-- Maybe getting PMs for being a girl is a new thing since I used to play actively? xD
If you think it's bad now, try being a girl AND a moderator AND get all of SKSoccer's PMs because people don't type entire names >.>
