    no actually that 16x16x16 area didn't load for me as you can see the shadow of the island is still there

    I get little non-loading spots all the time (Way too often >_>) but mine are much worse, I don't even know how to fix it either. About 1 minute (Yes...only 1........) after I start minecraft, this starts happening, and the only way to fix it is to restart minecraft completely...it gets really annoying...it might be related to having it on steam though...steam hates minecraft.
