I have no idea where to post this so I did it here (staff please move it if it is in the wrong place, thank you.)
What happened is that when 1.7.4 came out I can't play it. This is because of the twitch integration software they added. My computer cannot handle it and I was wondering if there was a way to disable it. If someone knew how to do this I might offer a hefty prize. It says there is something wrong with my core dump or something, and me not having mini dumps enabled on my computer. So let's do a run down:
-I need a way to get rid of twitch integration or turn it off
-I cannot access minecraft, it crashes after anything to 1.7.4 and up
-Offering a hefty reward... (my friendship, mommy said I was priceless)
Thank you :D

What is that? Don't recognize website/don't know if it is safe... I can just copy and past the thing instead. -
Its just a website to paste long things so it doesn't spam the forums. you can post here if you don't feel comfortable using it though.

I believe i know what your problem is, if you are receiving the error I think you are anyway. Probably looks something along the lines of:
A few people have reported that they have had some success fixing this issue by first making sure all of your graphics drivers are up to date and then attempting to run minecraft in compatibility mode for windows XP (Service Pack 3).
You can do this by just right clicking on your minecraft icon and going to properties, then on the compatibility tan check the box saying "Run this program in compatibility mode for:", and select windows XP (Servive pack 3).
If that does not work then I can offer you one more suggestion other then getting a new graphics card or a new computer (or making changes to your system32 folder which I would not recommend) and that would be to use a mod that a few people are saying have solved their issue with this error. The mod was literally designed to fix this error but has had many issues with not being compatible with things like forge and optifine.
The mod is called openGL fixer, I cannot promise this will fix the issue that you are having as I have not personally tested any of these methods as I have not had this issue. I have just done a bit of reading and research on the issue. You can find the mod here:
http://www.planetminecraft.com/mod/mod-opengl-fixer/
There is a link to a tutorial installation video a bit down the page if its needed. The mod is supposed to resolve the problem for graphics cards that support a minimum of openGL 1.4 but do not quite support openGL 2.1.
As I said before I have not tested any of these methods, these are just some methods that people have reported have worked in the past for them with this issue.
-If I helped let me know :) otherwise if I am totally off topic please feel free to ignore my crazy ramblings :p

It may help anyone else who has this issue in the future. -
Updating GPU drivers is likely to work, unless the gpu is too old.
You could create a mod to disable the twitch integration, but that's overkill imo.
