I would like to make my own texture pack, but last time I tried to I completely messed it up and did it in paint, when I tested a dirt texture test I had made, there was white around torches, and anything else like that. I think it's because I tried to use MSPaint for it. I would like to know what programs I need / how do I make textures. Thanks.
I never liked Paint.NET, but I'm glad you're getting it. GIMP is buggy and crashes. :B ..though I never found Paint.NET to be like Photoshop at all. What version did you use of Photoshop?
Ohh. CS3 was my bestest buddy for a couple years or so until I lost it when my harddrive failed. >_> I haven't used Paint.NET in a while, so maybe it updated or something. And sis, /somewhere/ in the house is Photoshop Elements 2.0 (really old, but can do just as much as GIMP/other things, if not..more, lul), so if we ever find that, I could install it for you lol
Lol, I don't know how to use Photoshop Paint.NET is working pretty good right now, here is what I have so far: I think I've edited the glass, chest (Small chest), bed, crack animation, torches, (Both kinds) levers, cake (Ofcourse), dirt, grass, stone, and um.. I think that's it xD
