    So. You've got yourself 75k and are about to buy a town, hoping to make money off of it. I made enough money on this server to go from builder to president in less than a month, and this how

    First, i highly recomend making friends with a mayor or president with a town portal.

    Second, place town near theres, connected if they allow it.

    Third, build an extra for your town. All i added at first was parkour, but even something small like that can get people interested over selling "standard" plots. Eventually, if you can, eitherdonate yourself or like i did pay someone 2-3k a week to set up a repair shop for anyone who joins your town. That attracts citizens like bees to pollen. Lol bees dont like honey, they make it:p

    Use the town portal of your friend and neighbor for the entire first town until president. Recommended plot prices:
    10*10 1500
    15*15 3000
    20*20 5000
    30*30 10,000
    50*50 20,000

    Oncepresident, get a town portal, then get intertown portals which are much cheaper than town-spawn portals

    Putting your town near someone elses town portal is nearly essential for a fast start, unless ofcourse you have the TP donation :p

    I don't think there is going to be anyone that wants to move into the town to do free repairs, most of those people are people
    who already have homes.

    my towns 10x10s are 2k but we have a PvP arena slabs and glowstone roads, free water, Spleef arena, Underground market, Active/grief free community, and an underground fallout shelter lol

    Theres a plot owned by hoking too :eek:

    I made my money off other peoples towns first to get mayor then at least 50k towards president! Mine arn't open to the common player just me and friends!

    Rather than rushing to make money off of a town, you should first build it up to be appealing, and then you can sell plots or houses for a lot more. It took a long time for me to make any money for any of my towns, but now that they have been built up to be desirable I can make a lot of money from them.

    You cannot set plot flags, to add members to a town you do /rg addmember (townname) (username)
    you can apply for certain flags but you will have to look that up on the wiki.
