    I'm not sure how to find the .minecraft file using a Mac's finder but once you are there do the same thing where you go to options.txt and change the gamma to 10.0

    I don't know about mac. But if someone's using ubuntu.

    Just go in your personnal folder. Press ctrl+h to show your hidden folder and then you can open your .minecraft folder and do what SnDxCH4RG3R said.
