Do you have an Efficiency VII Pickaxe? Yes How much money, per hour, on average do you make with it? Around 35k- 40k depends on how fresh the reset. What is your strategy when mining? I use something similar to Solaces' strategy, but I get everything. Lets say I want to mine for 2 hours. I mine constantly without talking , looking specifically for red-stone ore although I do get everything. I have a macro that constantly runs doing /repair all and /sell stone. The stone makes me about 2k/ hour. I think that's pretty significant for stone. I usually put my speed on 5+. After I get a full inventory I /sethome (Name) where I am, and load all my ores into a double chest. After my goal of 2 hours, I create an ore monster ( basically a big chunk of ores) and place my gold and iron in a cooking pot. I use super breaker on the ores for MAXIMUM profit, which I really recommend doing. If you have a really low mining level, I think it isn't really worth the time waiting. But after around 500 mining I think it's worth it in full. After I collect everything,I sell in this way: I sell Redstone, lapis, iron, and coal to the server. Diamonds, gold, and emeralds I sell to different spawnshops at /warp market. I usually sell to Usernameofdeath's shop. After I have sold everything, I think the exp is worth way more than you can sell it for at the spawnshops. I use the exp for enchanting and such. (Enjoy!) What donation features do you use when you mine? Ext Commands +, Pyro+, Water+, Fly+
Is there a specific way you mine? Do you mine in a 1x2 row, go forward for some time, then go back and pick up the ores?
Made 25k in one hour mining in main world using solace and nickels ways. However, some distractions i had were talking in chat, stopping to turn music on/off, and stopping to watch my friend play every so often Deer Hunter 2014. Lol. So i think i can make up to 35k in an hour if i eliminate these distractions.
Mining is more complicated to test than farming because there is so many different things to sell, and there is more than one action taking place and no set way to do any of it. If you want to find your true dollars/hour, you should 1. Start with no inventory besides your mining gear. 2. Either clear your balance/xp or write them both down beforehand. 3. Start the timer and go mining. 4. Don't stop the timer until all your ores are fortuned, all your stuff is sold to trade signs or put into trade signs. 5. Stop the timer and record your balance, xp, value of unsold valuables, and time spent during that session. 6. Convert your total assets gained into a dollar amount, and divide that by the time spent on this mining trip. 7. Convert to dollars/hour. I am usually in the neighborhood of a 30k/hour rate. I dontt 100% believe the people who claim they consistently get more than that. I try to stay at about y=10 and swing my view back and forth as I move forward. If I run into lava, dirt or gravel, I go around it. I follow any ore veins I find, except coal ore. I don't worry about what direction I'm headed, just keep moving forward and never stop breaking blocks.
If you can concentrate that the is the goal number + or - 3-4k If you do more than that you are either cheating, lying or miscalculating
