How do you make you Money!?

I do pretty much everything but farm.

I hire workers.
I mine.
I hire workers to farm for me.
I have a spawn shop.
I sell enchanted items.
I sell plots in my town.
I host games.
I sell my donation services.

Umm

 

I randomly jump around spawn while my balance grows.

 

I play the lotto, it seems to like me, only up 2,000,000 Eco$ Oh and I use my double blaze spawner and my melon farm with melon sword!

 

I post how i make money on the forums, usually brings in a good amount.

 

FARM

 

don't you need to be within 120 blocks of your farm for it to continue growing? With this in mind, how to people build 200x200 farms? wouln't they not grow? i'm just curious.

 

Hmm... I farm melons. But mainly, I mine and sell everything. To me, it makes a lot.

 

If what you said is true (meh, i don't remember things like that), then no, they wouldn't grow unless someone is within 120 blocks, but they would start growing as soon as you got within range. Then again, all you need is 2 people to get it all to grow at once.

 

What tools do you all use when you melon farm?
I've been using a eff4,silktouch,unbreaking3 axe.. I don't feel like I make a lot at all

 

I used to use a shovel with the same enchants, but I lost it. So now I use a pick with the same enchants :3

 

Melons break fastest with swords, unfortunately. You can't put eff or st on a sword. It can only be bought with nether stars. I would switch to pumpkins if you don't have the sword.

 

With what I have, would the axe be better on pumpkins then melons?

 

i don't
everything i do has been nerfed (fishing, gravelmonster, melon, pumpkin, wheat, cane, netherstars, etc)
i know rely on my mall plots and nagging my co-mayor for money

Yeah, that's good for pumpkins. Axe is best on pumpkins and all that matters is eff as far as enchants go. If you can, get another eff 4 axe and pay someone to combine the axes into eff 5.

I have a skele and zombie spawner with a trap. That pretty much is how I get all my money.

 

I don't make money, I just get them sitting on my throne watching my workers do everything for me!

 

I make like 30k in 30 minutes when I am on at 1am. Don't ask me how I do it because I can never remember the next day... Buying and selling enchanted items is a good market also.
