Many people make money without cheating. There is farming, mining, playing the Survival Games, buying and selling items, and doing jobs for other players. As far as the cheating part of your question goes, it is usually best to submit complaints if you feel somebody is breaking the ECC rules.

Becoming skilled at the survival games and laughing as the pathetic kitters try to kill you.
