    My minecraft has been crashing often recently because of lack of memory allocated to it. I have plenty of memory on my computer but it's just not allocated to minecraft. What's the easiest way to get minecraft to run with more memory?

    I use the MultiMC launcher, it provides an option for allocating ram

    I use this batch file to launch minecraft if I want to allocate more ram.

    You may have to change the directory to java and minecraft.exe.
