    Brief Description: When i approach a hostile mob, e.g. a skeleton or zombie, within 10 blocks of it, the mob vanishes.
    Instructions: 1. Go to the mining world 2. Approach a hostile mob 3. The mob dissappears
    How many times did you recreate this bug?: Twice this happened, havent seen anymore than 2 hostile mobs.
    Result: The mob dissapears/vanishes
    Expected Result: It can still be seen

    It may have been someone with the stealth feature who then teleported away.

    andrewkm I posted about the nether issues, and as of about an hour ago, it was still not fixed (at least for me). nether mobs would still disappear when I approach them. I too noticed this issue in the mining world as well.
